I love this quirky beauty, always changing its rosettes depending on light and temperature. Aeonium ‘Schwarzkopf’ is one of the winter-growing succulents, but it’s best to keep it indoors during the colder months to stay dry and frost-free. ️
How to look after it:
Use a well-draining soil mix with grit, perlite, or sand, and water only when the soil is completely dry, soggy soil can cause root rot.
Give it plenty of bright light, the more light, the deeper the purple colour. If you’re short on windowsill space, a grow light works wonders.
Easy to propagate from stem cuttings, just make sure the cut end has calloused over before planting.
With a little care, this beauty will reward you with rich colour and strong form all year round.

There’s a certain resemblance, don’t you think? Can you tell which one’s the plant? ![]()
