Not quite moss, not quite a typical plant… Marimo moss balls are actually a rare form of algae, naturally shaped into soft green spheres by the gentle movement of water in their lake habitats. They grow incredibly slowly, making them one of the calmest little companions to have around.

🌿 Their care is simple and rewarding:

– Keep in fresh, cool water. Change the water every 2 weeks, or a little more often in summer when temperatures rise

– Rinse and softly roll them in your hands to help keep their shape (this is my favourite part), and clean the container if algae begins to form on the glass

– Place in low to medium indirect light. Avoid direct sun and high temperatures, as glass containers can heat up quickly, best not to place on a windowsill
